The Experience | John 4:23

We believe in an authentic worship experience. When a person attends Connect Church they leave knowing that God loves them, true hope is found only in the finished work of Jesus Christ, His people love them and they can experience His very presence.

The City | Matthew 5:16

Connect Church is for the city and will love & serve the people of New Orleans. Outreach is not something we do it is who we are. We desire to give God all the glory and see this city impacted by God‘s people bringing Hope, Healing and Restoration to the lost and hurting.

The Truth | 2 Timothy 3:16

We believe the Bible is God’s Word and Scripture is the highest and supreme authority on any matter on which it speaks. We will strive to teach Biblically so that we can know God more, understand His plan for our lives and ultimately love and serve Him with our heart, soul, mind and strength.

The Family | Ephesians 5:33

While the fabric of the family is being broken down by the culture, Connect Church will seek to value and strengthen the Christian home. In this, we will encourage stronger husbands, faithful wives, obedient children and prepared singles.

The Next Generation | Psalm 78:7

Nearly one and five Americans state they have no religious affiliation. On top of that, statics show that two-thirds of young people in evangelical churches will leave when they move into their 20’s. Connect Church is committed to seeing the next generation discipled and live their faith daily.

The Disciple | Matthew 28:19

Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples. To train & send laborers into the harvest is the heart of Connect Church. We will see our city transformed as disciples are made and sent forth to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is both a local, national and global initiative. Our heart is that every member be connected to the church through groups and serving.

Holy Spirit inspired, authoritative Word of God and eternally reliable. (2 Peter 1:21, 2 Timothy 3:16)

There is one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Isaiah 44:6, Phil 1:12, John 1:1, Heb. 1:8, Acts 5:3-4)

We affirm the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious atoning death through his shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and his personal return in power and glory. (Matt 1:23, John 1:14, John 8:58, Luke 24:39,1 Cor. 15:14, Col. 2:9)

We affirm the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We affirm that the Holy Spirit provides one or more spiritual gifts to all believers, manifesting them as He wills.  (Matt.28:19, Romans 8:9, 1 Cor. 12, 2 Cor. 13:14)

Jesus Christ rose from the dead in the same body He died in after being in the grave for three days. He was raised in a glorified, physical body (still retaining his crucifixion wounds). He ascended bodily into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and rules heaven and earth. (John 2:19; 1 Cor. 15;Luke 24:39).the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We affirm the one universal Church, which is the Body of Christ. We affirm Christ as its head. We affirm all that are born again as its members. We affirm the church’s purpose as offering worship to God, fellowship, ministry and instruction to itself, and evangelism and service to the world. We affirm the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:24, Romans 3:28)
